New Video

Case – Teni the Entertainer

Superstar Teni dropped her third double project last week, and this week she’s given us the first video of the last release.

The singer dropped the video for her song Case and its just as fun as the song. The DK-directed video sees the singer do practically everything she said she’d do for her White Knight. Teni and her friends teach the White Knight’s harasser an unforgettable lesson after he uncannily punches the singer’s crush outside a local supermarket when they unintentionally bump shoulders, but sometimes love is one-sided as we find out at the end of the video when Le Crush is seen moving to another chic (cue tears).

Teni gives us a fun visual spin on the breakup before the relationship.

Loyal – Major Lazer ft. Kiss Daniel & Kranium

Continuing the fire they started with the release of their project Afrobeats Mix last month, Major Lazer have released their fourth video of the album; Loyal following previous videos All My Life featuring Burna BoyOrkant/Balance Pon It featuring Gqom Queen Babes Wodumo and Tied Up featuring Mr Eazi and Raye.

The track features Kiss Daniel and Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall singer Kranium and the video was shot on location in Dakar, Senegal and once again, Major Lazer has done a great job with showing off the sights and sounds of another beautiful African city. The video was released on the 3rd; two days before their U-Live Lagos concert and we’re hoping there’s more.

Clay Is The One

On Monday, rock artist; Clay released the audio and video of her new single featuring Johnny Drille; The One. The song brings Clay’s rock and Johnny Drille’s folk sound together flawlessly.

Gimme Life – Maleek Berry

The video for Maleek Berry’s summer love anthem is finally out and the love is obviously at the carnival.

The Nigerian-British artist is very down for the summer (in true Berry fashion) in this very vibrant and colourful video, joining the shaku-shaku movement in his own unique way. The self-produced party starter which dropped in June is the first of a series of singles the artist calls Sounds Of The Sun and is his first release of 2018.

Nwa Baby – Davido

DMW boss, Davido released the audio and video of his new hit Nwa Baby in the early hours of August 10, 2018. The song which premiered exclusively on the PGM show on Wednesday evening is described as the star’s biggest hit yet.

The video, directed by Meji Alabi sees Davido and his girl in the classic Bonnie and Clyde relationship; only this time, Bonnie has no qualms in driving off with the loot and leaving Clyde behind to take the fall when the police get really hot on their tails and naturally, Davido ends up behind bars.

Love is a literal crime here and we love it.

Burna Boy – Ye

Burna Boy’s chart-topper finally has visuals for us to enjoy.  Ye is the most successful song of the Outside album and the song hasn’t slowed down one bit; garnering additional numbers internationally with the release of Kanye West’s album; Ye (yes, they’re namesakes).

Funky Funbi has finally released the visuals to his first single of 2018 titled Turn Me Around.
