Listen To BarelyAnyHook’s Trippy Tune ‘Line Up’

BarelyAnyHook has kicked off the year with a fresh single titled ‘Line Up’. He premiered this record on the PGM Radio show with Douglas Jekan, CityMonsta and D-Truce on Wednesday, January 30. On the show, he revealed that he actually started out as a…

Looku Looku – Tems

Last year, Tems popped on the radar; a very hard-to-ignore presence with her single Mr RebelHer distinct vocals put her on our watchlist. The singer finished last year with a flourish featuring on The Collectiv3’s second compilation Live. Create. Repeat. and amazing live performances including the Aux Live Concert.

Tems’ new single Looku Looku produced by Oddio is another very emotive track. Looku Looku  is a dedication to the discontent man: ‘what are you always looking for outside when I’m right here?’ after which she voices her need for his attention and validation.

We’re definitely looking forward to more from this amazingly talented woman.

Promise – Adekunle Gold x Simi

After pulling off a secret engagement and wedding ceremony, newlywed faves Adekunle Gold and Simi released single Promise.

The visuals, released on YouTube on the 16th is a visual diary of their big day and their official statement to the public. Social media has been amok since with speculations of how Simi and Adekunle Gold successfully pulled off one of the biggest events in their life so covertly as it is no secret that the two singers have been an item for quite a while.

Promise is nothing less than the love song we would expect from AG and Simi; and their declaration of everlasting love is definitely going on every wedding/engagement playlist henceforth.

Listen To The Remix – Alpha’s Ocean Boy

The epically talented rapper/producer Alpha has teamed up with Blaqbonez, Dremo and Psycho YP to bring the remix of the single Ocean Boy.

This Alpha-produced recreation brings more heat to an already fire track.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any hotter …

Here For You – AUSTIIN ft Tieno

Hip-Hop/Soul Singer, AUSTIIN, is a budding Nigerian recording artist, songwriter and producer.

His initial releases include tracks Trouble (featuring Buju and Essienwhich he only has credits for as a producer.

His debut Single Here For You (featuring Tieno) was released in December 2017 and it quickly became a fan fave.

AUSTIIN has been consistent with his craft in 2018 releasing Thrills, originally a prelude to his 2019 project titled WRATH OF AUGUST. The track was produced and engineered by producer and frequent collaborator, Trill Xoe.

Thrills sees AUSTIIN stay true to his experimental trap sound as he delivers dreamy vocals over Xoe’s harrowing chords and hard-hitting subs. The dolorous shadow cast over the entire track by the production is the perfect backdrop for AUSTIIN’s emotive tale-telling of the struggle to make it in his city, Lagos. He sings of his plan to “make a milli off a sick deal” and how far he is willing to go to get through the struggle and achieve success in a difficult terrain.

Thrills is yet another testament to his remarkable chemistry with Trill Xoe.

Another Year In ‘These Buhari Times’

We enjoyed Palmwine Music Vol 2 and The Collectiv3’s Live. Create. Repeat. but it’s time to reflect and figure out 2019.

Show Dem Camp is out with their first project of the year These Buhari Times. By now, SDC fans are familiar with their table-shaking Clone Wars projects and as the fourth instalment, These Buhari Times is no different.

The LP explores issues from internet fraud, lazy Nigerian youth-ing, fair weather friendships to toxic masculinity. The Spax-produced project, mixed and mastered by AudioGrease Monkey features Ladipoe, Vector, Tems, Cina Soul, Sir Dauda, M.I, Phlow, Dap The Contract and Rotex.

Start the year right, listen to These Buhari Times here.

Just Like Magic – Donli’s ‘Classic’

2018 has been nothing short of amazing for the Alté Queen, headlining her own shows and doing us a couple of fire features. What better way to end the year than with a Classic?

Lady Donli’s latest Classic – featuring rapper Kida Kudz – premiered on the PGM Radio Show on Wednesday and is now out for consumption on all major platforms.

The song produced by Toye Aru gives great old school vibes and is truly Classic. Just like Magic.

Listen To Wavy’s ‘Interlude 3’

We’ve been schooled to expect WavyTheCreator’s soothing sound; even though you’re never truly prepared for it, but have we ever heard a calm Zamir?

On Wavy’s latest Interlude 3 produced by the doctor Genio Bambino, the rapper’s vocals are almost husky as the pair weave a sexy interaction.

Trobul – Sarz x Wurld

These two amazing talents – ace producer Sarz and artist Wurld – teamed up to create an amazing tale of toxic love with their single Trobul.

The song quickly became a hit with its catchy beat and lyrics and the pair have just released the visuals for this hit. The video uses psychedelic imagery to accurately illustrate the love-hate relationship between Wurld and his lover.

Enjoy this masterpiece.

No Crime – Nonso Amadi

Loverboy Nonso Amadi has had a good 2018 with all the amazing collabs he’s jumped on and the release of his single No Crime earlier this year.

The singer released the much-anticipated video for the fan fave three days ago. The Meji Alabi-directed video shows Nonso and le boo in a sweet summer serenade.

The video delivers amazing vibes and is the Christmas gift we didn’t think we needed.
