In January, Yung L released his 7-track EP “Juice & Zimm” which featured appearances from Vanessa Mdee, Sarkodie and Tay Iwar. And almost without warning, the afro-dancehall singer has released the remix of ‘Eve Bounce’, one of the highlights off the tape featuring Afrobeats frontman, Wizkid.

With ‘Eve Bounce’, Yung L perfectly blends afrobeats and dancehall into a refreshing party-starting smoothie, calling on his woman to give him a chance to please her. On the remix, neither does the beat nor Yung L’s English-Patios delivered verses get altered. It is Wizkid that brings his superstar energy to bear on the record, breathing a new life to its vibrance. Wizkid’s presence can be felt right from the beginning as he announces his arrival lauding himself as the sure go-to guy. “You want da pretty gal/ you want da batty ruff/ You want that G-mix, call me.” He then returns after Yung L’s second verse to serve us that smooth Wizkid verse we’ve been holding our breaths for right from when we hit the play button. He jaywalks right into the theme, detailing all the sweet things he has in mind for his baby girl.
