Earlier this year, Nigerian singer/songwriter Waje released “WAJE 2.0” an 11-track project that housed songs like “Vibes,” “No Rush,” “Bills Bills” and many others; “WAJE 2.0” has opened the door for other projects to join the artist’s discography as Waje has just released another album titled “Unbroken.” The project which was released today is no ordinary album, as it is a gospel project and also serves as the artist’s birthday gift to herself and her show of gratitude to God.
The 9-track project consists of songs like “Who am I?” “Beautiful Saviour,” “Abasi,” “Halleluyah,” “God Alone,” “Stay,” “Mercy Me,” “Imagine” and “Na me be dis.” In this project, Waje passionately sings about thanksgiving, the reckless love of God, God’s mercy and staying in the presence of God no matter what happens, she holds nothing back as her vocals soar over each track and is guaranteed to leave goosebumps and make listeners reminisce on God’s love. While speaking about the album on her IG page, she said, “I give praise to a beautiful God who has shown me mercy, in whose presence I stay, who am I without you? I cannot imagine. Na me be this, singing hallelujah, Abasi! you are God alone who holds me UNBROKEN!” Stream “Unbroken” here and enjoy.
