Veteran Benin singer, Angélique Kidjo features Africa’s rising stars on her Pan-African album “Mother Nature”. Mother Nature is Angélique’s first album of original music in 7 years, following 2019’s Grammy-winning Celia, and her 2018 radical reimagining of Talking Heads’ landmark LP Remain In Light. In this dynamic mix of African traditional music and contemporary sounds, she works with a host of rising African musicians where she tackles socio-political issues like climate change, Police brutality, Equality, Empowerment, Freedom, Unity and many others.

In an Interview with CNN’s Amanpour, she speaks on the album as her means to spread love and protect the one Eco-system we all have to share as humans. Instead of letting fear and hate foster, we practice Love instead. She says;
For me, this album is the lessons of love to one another.
