Tolani and Reekado Banks Team Up On ‘Ba Mi Lo’

Tolani has kicked off the year with a new single titled ‘Ba Mi Lo‘ featuring Reekado Banks. This comes over a year after the release of her debut single ‘Tenderoni’ with Skales.

Tolani premiered the song yesterday, January 17, on the PGM Radio Show with Douglas Jekan and Dare Omisore (City Monster). On the show, she discussed her music journey, the pressures she has had to deal with as a result of being the daughter of a billionaire, as well as the creation and production of the record ‘Ba Mi Lo’ with the Reekado Banks who she found to be a good working partner.

‘Ba mi Lo’ which directly translates to “Come Go With Me” is a soulful afro-pop record on which Tolani and Reekado obsess over and eventually profess deep affection for one another. On the infectious record, Tolani’s gifts as a brilliant songwriter and vocalists were on full display as she held her own, not letting herself get overshadowed by a more prominent Reekado Banks. In fact, their chemistry is undeniable especially as they sang back and forth in the final chorus.

The video which was shot and directed by Aje Filmworks sees Tolani and Reekado Banks yearn for each other in a romantic and beautiful woodland setting.
