It’s been a while we have heard the name “Ruby Gyang”, last time we did she was preaching the gospel of having a “good man”. She’s been hiding her beautiful voice from us but she’s back anyway, and that’s all we care about. She debuted her new song ‘Kale Ni’ on the PGM radio show, and we were blown away.
Kale Ni is different from the normal soulful sound we hear from Ruby and on this record, she got in touch with her roots and explored a more upbeat, EDM dance vibe with Hausa lyrics that embrace the concept of being young, free and experimental. It’s a good record for everyone who can’t wait for the summer fun to begin.

Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come to enjoy your life! About five years after dropping her first project, “Love or War,” Lady Donli has finally released her highly anticipated debut album, “Enjoy Your Life.”
In the last few weeks, President Donli has been appointing enjoyment ministers and reporters for the Federal Republic of Enjoyment and now its time for time to fully deliver.
This album which has been in the works for two years is a 15 track album, in which Lady Donli brings along a team of supremely gifted new-gen acts including Tems, Benjiflow, Somadina, Amaarae, Vanjess, Tomi Thomas, Solis and of course the Cavemen who executive produced the album alongside Donli. The engineering of the album is mainly handled by the grandmaster GMK, save for ‘Around‘ which was mixed by Tay Iwar.
“ Enjoy Your Life, is about spreading the message of happiness and love in the way that it should be, could be-and about treating people better,” she says in an interview with Indie Mag.
The album, however, comes with a caveat. “Please do not shuffle. Listen from start to bottom or don’t listen at all” she wrote in all caps in her final declaration before the release of the album.Post Views: 570

Ahead of his soon-to-be-released EP which he announced officially just a few days ago, Reekado Banks has released a new record titled ‘Need More’ featuring the Jiggy boy Kida Kudz as well as EO. This would be Reekado Banks’ first single release since he got stuck in the lockdown for about six months in Gabon after going there to shoot a music video.
This coming EP “Off The Record” would be Reekado Banks’s first release project since his celebrated debut album “Spotlight” which was released over four years ago. The original plan was to release his sophomore album this year, but apparently, this was also one of the plans disrupted by COVID this year. Now, his fans would have to settle for this 5-track EP which would serve as a prelude to his full-length body of work.
Speaking about the EP in a recent interview with GRM, he revealed that “all the songs on the EP are collaborations. There is not a single song that isn’t a feature. As you already know, “Need More” has Kida Kudz and EO. There’s a song with Wizkid on the EP, another with Tiwa Savage and Mr Eazi.
The crazy thing is I didn’t actually get to sit down with many of the artists, apart from two of them. Tiwa stopped by my house one day and recorded, and I was with Wizkid in his studio when we made the record. Every other song was done remotely and I really love everyone on the project.”
This new record ‘Need More’ is heavily influenced by the UK bounce and it just feels so fitting to have Kida Kudz on the joint. Over the head-bopping beat, the trio croon about having the best of times at a wild all-night party and how that just isn’t enough. The Blaise Beatz-produced bop offers something in its liquid chorus for everybody who listens to it: pining for a blazing romance, a twinge of nostalgia, or a shot of self-praise.
Enjoy the record above.Post Views: 104
