Yusuf Kanbai whose real name is Yusuf oluwo promises that 2021 will be very different from his previous years. Why? He refuses to participate in free work popularly known as oshofree this year.

This is a story Creatives know too well. Your art is appreciated, it is good enough for commercial use but for some reason, you’re expected to do free work with promises of exposing you to a larger audience or more opportunities. Well, in ” Oshofree ” YKB says no more, pay me or leave me be.

He has steadily used platforms like soundcloud to independently push his music. The artist has previously released his two tracks E.P ” Heae me out ” which contained ” know me ” and ” Tsunami .”

Additional vocals for ” Oshofree ” were provided by S3nami and the song was produced by Zolo. You can listen to it exclusively on Audiomack here.
