Davido’s Sophomore Album “A Good Time ” Is Finally Here

As promised, Davido has finally released his highly-anticipated sophomore album “A Good Time” today, November 22. This is the long-overdue follow up to his hit-packed 2012 debut album, “Omo Baba Olowo (O.B.O).” It also comes three years after his 5-track “Son Of Mercy” EP with was met with middling success despite appearances from Nasty C and Tinashe on the project. Even Davido was quick to put the project behind him as it appeared that he really didn’t have really his heart in it after all. But “A Good Time” already looks poised for commercial and cultural success. This is given its impressive roll-out, premium packaging and far-reaching lead singles.

This new album isn’t a brief one as it’s 17 tracks long with a total runtime of an hour. It also boasts big-name collaborations with Chris Brown, A Boogie With Tha Hoodie, Popcaan, Gunna, Summer Walker, Zlatan, Naira Marley, WurlD, Dremo, Yonda and frequent collaborator, Peruzzi.

Listen To Sarz And WurlD’s Joint EP “I Love Girls With Tobul”

After waiting for what felt like a lifetime and a modified title, Sarz and WurlD have finally made good of their promise by releasing their joint EP, “I Love Girls With Trobul.” This comes after they both released personal project earlier this year, with Sarz opening the year with his debut EP, “SINYM (Sarz Is Not Your Mate)” and WurlD releasing his 9-track “Love Is Contagious” EP a short while after.

This new 8-track EP contains previously released songs like ‘Trobul‘, ‘Nobody Wins‘ and ‘Mad‘ which is just a week old. “I Love Girls With Trobul” consists no features and assists even on the production end which is solely handled by the ever-evolving Sarz.

The Video For Sarz & WurlD’s ‘Ego (Nobody Wins)’ Tells An All Too Familiar Story

Sarz and WurlD have finally unveiled the long-awaited visuals for ‘Ego (Nobody Wins)‘, almost ten months since its initial release. This comes just a few hours before the release of their much-teased joint EP, “I Love Girls With Trobul” set to drop on Friday, November 8. The video directed by a team of Chukwuka Nwobi, WurlD, Baba Agba and Muktar tells a poignant tale of a clash of egos.

It opens with three ladies preparing for a party having the relationship talk and advising WurlD’s downhearted lover. The video soon finds WurlD and Sarz at a bar as the singer croons with a sore heart about him craving his sweetheart. She then goes on to have a good time at the party, dancing to her favourite tunes with friends while WurlD chills with his guys. Sarz plays the good friend who listens to all of WurlD’s howls and grumbles, even offering him a drink to deal with his pain at a point.

Amidst all this, the lovebirds terribly long for each other but are a repelled by an even stronger force: ego. At the end of the video, they realise they had been in the same place all along.

Sarz & WurlD ‘s Joint EP Might Be Coming Sooner Than You Think

Ever since ace producer, Sarz, and the amazing singer/songwriter, WurlD joined forces on 2018 releases ‘Trobul’ as well as ‘Ego (Nobody Wins)‘, we’ve had our fingers crossed for the joint project. And although the project was slated for release in the summer last year, we never got hold of the album titled “Trobul.” The duo has been quite busy their personal projects as Sarz released his six-track debut EP “SINYM (Sarz Is Not Your Mate,” while WurlD also released his “Love IS Contagious” project which housed singles like ‘Show You Off‘ and ‘Contagious’.

However, it appears that their joint project might be on the horizon as Sarz revealed earlier today that the EP is ready. “Sarz X WurlD EP ready….” he tweeted.

Although we do not have a release date yet, we perceive that the project would be dropping before the end of the year.

WurlD Releases “Love Is Contagious” EP

Nigerian afro-fusion singer and songwriter, WurlD has released his debut EP titled “Love Is Contagious” which is a soulful blend of African music and Western elements. Contagious is a 9-track EP that contains previously released fan-favorite numbers like ‘Show You Off’ with Shizzi and Walshy Fire, ‘Paranoid’ and ‘Contagious’.

Trobul – Sarz x Wurld

These two amazing talents – ace producer Sarz and artist Wurld – teamed up to create an amazing tale of toxic love with their single Trobul.

The song quickly became a hit with its catchy beat and lyrics and the pair have just released the visuals for this hit. The video uses psychedelic imagery to accurately illustrate the love-hate relationship between Wurld and his lover.

Enjoy this masterpiece.
