GoodGirl LA And Terri Are An Inseparable Duo On ‘Talo Lomo’

Just a couple of months after releasing her debut “La Confidential” EP, GoodGirl LA is back with which she claims to be her last release of the year. This is a new single is titled ‘Talo Lomo‘ and it features one of the most talented acts on the rise, Terri.

Produced by a capable duo of Tempo and P.Prime, ‘Talo Lomo‘ is an infectious and percussive dance-centric tune that showcases sizzling chemistry of the two acts. Despite being a record that seems tailored for the festive #DettyDecember and clubs, the pair doesn’t just lazy around on the thundering drums. With her enchanting voice, GoodGirl LA croons with a causal air about an intoxicating but unrequited affection. Terri on his part delievers product on hook-duty and with a stunning closer. One striking thing about the record is the near-inaudible but scintillating chant GoodGirl LA delievers on the bridge.

This is no doubt a banger that would rock the dancefloors as we begin to wrap up the year. Hell, it might just be that smash hit to propel Goodgirl LA to mainstream success.

Triple Threat: PsychoYP Releases New Singles Off “YPSZN 2”

PsychoYP is finally treating us to a taste of his soon-to-be-released project, “YPSZN 2” with three singles all at once. Just last week, the rapper announced the release date and tracklist of the follow-up to his stellar tape, “YPSZN” which was released to good reviews and has even amassed over a million streams – an impressive feat for an artist on the rise. And with the release of the three new tracks off “YPSZN 2“; ‘City Of Kings‘, ‘Elevate‘ and ‘No Chaser‘, we have a feel of what to expect on the coming project.

According to the unveiled tracklist, the project will feature appearances from Ladipoe, BOJ, Dami Oniru, Skales, Terri and more across 16 tracks.

City Of Kings‘ which happens to be the album opener is a worthy introduction to the project as it finds PsychoYP in his element, riding for his city over rolling hi-hats and hard-hitting kicks. The record is also littered with striking ad-libs reminiscent of Desiigner‘s 2015 monster hit, ‘Panda‘. On ‘Elevate‘ Afropop meets hip-hop as PsychoYP interpolates Olamide‘s ‘Motigbana‘, coming through with a relaxing melodic rap over a laid back instrumental.

But of the three releases, the Terri-assisted ‘No Chaser‘ takes the cake. This song enjoys a brilliant and catchy hook from Terri with PyschoYP stepping up with playful brags over the radio-friendly tune.

If these records are anything to go by, the sophomore curse has nothing on YP as the tape is already sounding like a worthy sequel. Remember, “YPSZN 2” drops on Monday, November 4.
