To the delight of many, Ghanaian-UK production-powerhouse, Juls has finally released his first single of the year. On this new record titled ‘Maayaa‘, he recruits the efforts of Tanzanian rapper, Tiggs Da Author and Santi, one of the frontliners of the raving Alte movement in Nigeria.

Over the slick production, highly rich in instrumentation provided by the maestro, Juls, Tiggs Da Author and Santi both deliver solid verses in which they celebrate black beauty, love and luxury. Check Out The Energetic Visuals For Prettyboy D-O’s ‘Pull Up’ Featuring Santi

Prettyboy D-O has unveiled the highly cinematic visuals to ‘Pull Up’ featuring Santi. This is one of the standout tracks off his debut mixtape “Everything Pretty”. This video directed by Demola is a very energetic one that matches the ferocity of the record.

This dark, gritty, and energetic video has spurred conversations on social media with many trying to still understand the somewhat elusive alte and their creative process and artistry. Due to the intensity of the video, a number of people picked up where they left off with Santa’s video for Rapid Fire, referring to the alte as just a front for a cult group.

The Video For Santi’s ‘Sparky’ Is Finally Here

Santi has finally unveiled the highly anticipated visuals his latest raving single ‘Sparky’, two weeks after the initially-proposed release date. And it is well worth the wait.

Santi Comes Through With New Single Sparky

Santi has picked up where he left off with a fresh new single titled Sparky.  The single comes just three months after the smash hit ‘Rapid Fire’ which features Amaarae and Shane Eagle.

Bris B’s Latest Is For The Secks

Bris B’s first release of the year is a sensual one called Supa Sigh.

The mid-tempo Higo-produced track is filled with sex jokes for days. The complete rawness of the song may be a little overwhelming for some, but the combination of that unfiltered-ness and Higo’s production creates a fun song.

Listen to Supa Sigh here.

Rapid Fire – Santi ft Shane Eagle, Amaarae

Santi’s 2018 hasn’t had just good music, the man has shown skill as a filmmaker too. He directed and produced the video for Freaky and directed the video for Odunsi’s falling.

The streak of videos continues with the release of the visual for Rapid Fire. Santi’s found-footage, 90s Nollywood horror video style continues with this montage. The tagline at the end ‘Sorry, we don’t have any candles’ makes the video even more interesting.

Mixed reactions have come for this video (as usual). While some of us think this video is dope, there are others who (interestingly) are now sure that Alte is a cult.

If you have not watched the video, you should.

Serving Everything Pretty – Pretty Boy D-O’s Debut Album

After disturbing the scene with his single Footwork,  Pretty Boy D-O hasn’t stopped once. The artist has proved twice over that he is not a one-hit-wonder with Itty Bitty and Chop Elbow. Pretty Bot D-O has officially released his debut album  Everything Pretty across all streaming platforms.

Santi’s New Single Is An Ode To A Fun Time

Santi has a great year with tracks like Icy and Freaky and some amazing features like Odunsi’s Alté Cruise and Tay Iwar’s SpaceThe young master is back with Rapid Fire featuring the Warrior Princess, Ghana’s Amaarae and South African Shane Eagle.

The Genio Bambino-produced joint is very 2000s Dancehall vibes, with a gangsta twist. A cool verse from Shane Eagle, a vocal transition From Tomi Agape moves the listener from Santi to Amaarae’s beautiful soft vocals and the combination of all these ingredients makes this international pot of stew very tasty.

The song, released earlier today is another perfect weekend jam and is another guarantee of Santi’s musical versatility.
