Runtown Is In Full Superstar Mode In ‘International Badman Killa’

A few months back, Runtown released the “Tradition” EP, his first official project since his 2016 groundbreaking debut “Ghetto University” to good reviews. And asides ‘Emotion’ and ‘Unleash’, the lead singles of the EP, another standout cut off “Tradition” is the Spellz-produced ‘International Badman Killa‘.

The melodic mid-tempo record finds Runtown in full superstar mode, bragging about the glitz, glamour, women and other perks that come along with stardom. Throughout the song, he is living his best life while still giving his best at his craft, killing every record and show that comes his way.

We at the PGM Club highly recommend this record for your listening pleasure.

Odunsi (The Engine) Releases Cameo-Packed Video For ‘Star Signs’

Odunsi(The Engine) has finally released the official music video for ‘star signs’, one of the highlights off his debut album “rare.” This record which features a guest verse from Runtown finds both singers croon about their preferences and how they love their women.

Odunsi had earlier released a lyric video for the song a few months back, but now the amazing record has eventually gotten the accompanying visuals it truly deserves. This release makes it the third official video off “rare.”, having earlier released the video for ‘falling’ and ‘alte cruise‘, a bonus track on the album.

The Candles-directed video finds Odunsi in a white shiny attire giving a mock live performance with a guitar in hand at a Zodiac-themed owambe party. The video is no doubt a celebration of fashion, expression, music and of course star signs.

Although the featured act, Runtown was a no-show, the video features cameo appearances from Santi, Tomi Thomas, Teezee, GMK and others.

Enjoy the video above.

Gimme Love – Seyi Shay x Runtown

Our favourite irawo starts off the year with a great track featuring Runtown.

The singer released the song and it’s video yesterday via YouTube.

The Clarence Peters-directed video brings back the dancer in the beautiful Stargurl.

The Gimme Love video gives the steamy list the song speaks of as Seyi Shay does not fall short with her supply of sexy seduction.

You Can Now Sing Along To Funbi’s ‘Show Your Colour’

This writer is so happy to see artists taking lyrics more seriously because it can pain when you hear a fire track and you can’t find anything on the lyrics.

BarelyAnyHook gave a self-shot video diary type lyric video for the fan favourite Waves Freestylethe official video for Odunsi’s falling has the lyrics going along with the audio 80’s karaoke style and the artist recently released a lyric video for his song with Runtown star signs and now, we can sing along to Funbi’s Show Your Colour.

Ahead of the release of his debut EP, Funbi released a trailer for the Serenade EP (the anticipation almost killed this writer),  and shortly after, the singer released his amazing debut and continuing the trail, Funbi has released the lyric video to Show Your Colour. The 88 Factor production stars the beautiful Amiola.

Enjoy the music and learn the lyrics.

Bacardi & Star Signs – Learn The Lyrics

After the video for falling, Odunsi has released a lyric video for his song with Runtown star signs.

Just like he did with his official video for falling, Odunsi is giving fans the luxury of singing along to the music while enjoying aesthetics with this video. The video, directed and edited by Braylen Dion shows us the carefree, almost faerie-like vibe of the girl that likes to party, drink Bacardi straight and talk about star signs.

It’s nice to see artists interested in engaging their audience like this, and we do hope others jump on this bandwagon.

A rare. Debut – Odunsi’s First Album

Pulling off a debut project that will make history books is hard. Making music that is inter-generational is even harder, but Odunsi has done it. The singer’s debut album premiered on the PGM Live radio show last Wednesday, an amazing private listening party on Thursday and the official public release on all platforms finally came through on Friday.

rare. is Odunsi’s first debut and it’s taken this vanguard two years to come through with this project. While some fans were mad that it’s taken their fave so long to put out a compilation, one listen to this superstar quality debut and you’ll understand why. The project samples the Funk/Disco sounds of the 70s/80s and some spins on 90s Hip-Hop and this has to be the best spin on the sounds produced this year and with such a superb blend of sound, you can’t really hate Odunsi’s music. With rare. we see Odunsi take sole charge of his brand aesthetic, adding to the redefinition of what it is to be an African artist in this age.

rare. is successfully inter-generational and will go down in history as one of the best things to happen to Nigerian music since Fela

The album boasts features from mainstream and New School heavyweights: Runtown, Davido, Nasty C, Zamir, Tay Iwar, Lady Donli, Santi, Duendita, Amaarae, Hamzaa, Solis and 234Jaydaa. All the tracks on rare. are produced by Odunsi (save for Alté Cruise which was produced by Yinoluu, Take Me There produced by Le Mav and Outcast produced by Genio Bambino) with help from GMK, DJ Yin, Nosapollo, and Davido.

We waited two years to receive this piece of heaven and it should not by any means be squandered. Listen to rare. here.
