DMW signee, Peruzzi reportedly assaulted popular Twitter influencer, Pamilerin yesterday, June 10, over comments made several months ago. Following Peruzzi’s highly publicized discontent at losing the Best New Act category at the Soundcity MVP Awards in January, Pamilerin (@thepamilerin on Twitter) aired his own take on the issue in a series of tweets as he strongly believed Teni truly deserved the award.

However, this did not sit well with Peruzzi and his camp as the influencer was allegedly threatened and asked to take down the tweets which he did.

According to multiple sources, an embittered Peruzzi and his team confronted, threatened and physically assaulted Pamilerin at an event yesterday. Pamilerin has vaguely confirmed this incident and has promised to take legal action.

Update: Peruzzi has taken to his social media to apologise to Pamilerin and the general public while promising not to be involved in such mess again.

I did very wrong for yesterday slapping mr pamilerin, let my feelings get the best of me and I am very sorry. Apologies to mr pamilerin and also to the general public. I’d never get into such mess again. Love Only, I promise. ❤️
