Listen To IllBliss’ New “Illosophy” EP

Veteran Nigerian rapper and one of the most prolific, IllBliss, has released yet another project titled “Illosophy.” This comes just a few months after his joint “Illy-Zilla” project with respected hip-hop producer, TeckZilla.

This new EP is seven tracks long and features appearances from Uzezi, and the late B-Elect, IllBliss’ longtime friend and former crew member, to whom the project is dedicated. In fact, the second track on the EP, ‘Ruler’ #2‘ is a tribute to the late rapper and media personality.

Production-wise, the project is handled by some of the best hands in hip-hop, as Oga Boss recruits the expertise of Major Bangs, XYZ, TeckZilla and Black Intelligence on this project.

In its own way, the “Illosophy” EP serves as a prelude to IllBliss’s long-awaited sixth studio album, “Illy Chapo,” which is set for release next month. In an interview with Pulse NG, IllBliss also revealed that he has another joint EP coming out this year, and this time it’s with the multi-talented producer, Bigfoot. Their joint ‘Nkali‘ is presumably the lead single off this coming project.

Bigfootinyourface Releases Sizzling ‘Boasty-Ekwe’ Mashup

Even after the conclusion of his 10-weeklong Downtempo Friday series, Bigfoot is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, the multi-talent producer and DJ has promised to keep us preoccupied with releases as he rounds up production of his much-anticipated EP. True to his promise, Bigfoot has released a new banging mashup titled ‘Boasty-Ekwe Mashup‘.

This is a very smooth mashup of Nigerian street classic, Stereoman‘s ‘Sample Ekwe‘ and  ‘Boasty‘, one of UK’s biggest songs this year. With over 43 million views on Youtube, ‘Boasty‘ is a dancehall banger on which Wiley, Stefflon Don and Sean Paul team up with actor and DJ, Idris Elba.

This mash-up is definitely a promise of better things to come, and it’s enough to hold us down to the release of Bigfoot’s EP.

Enjoy.

Illbliss Is Raw & Relentless On New Joint ‘Nkali’ With Bigfootinyourface

Illbliss is showing no signs of slowing down. And now, he is teaming up with Bigfootinyourface who has also had a very busy year to release a new record titled ‘Nkali‘. It would be remembered that this is Illbliss’s second record that is actually titled ‘Nkali‘ as the opening track off his 2016 “Illygaty:7057” album, featuring the living legend, DJ Jimmy Jatt also has the same title.

This new record is the first single of the coming joint EP by Illbliss and Bigfootinyourface which is expected to be released soon.

Nkali‘ which directly translates to ‘superiority’ finds Illy in boss-mode again as he flexes lyrically switching flows between English and Igbo, his native tongue. He brags about his artistic and general successes showing why he is a respected OG in the game who still has it very much in him over the dazzling Bigfoot production with scintillating riffs from the Oja flute.
