Smarty Lee wbo received a little bit of traction for his “Tule” track earlier this year has dropped “2021 no hype” featuring Peruzzi.
Smart Lee advises listeners to not hype 2021 as this was what destroyed 2020. We should take it easy and not be in a rush this year. It narrates the story of a young man determined to make it and cash out this year. It descends tragically into fast money rituals, the death of his sister and the eventual loss of his sanity. The general message is to take it easy. Be patient and move slow and steady.
He has previously released tracks like Yahoo girl, mumu man, If no be God etc.

Whether it’s a single or guest verses on posse cuts or even team-ups, Mojo, the self-ascribed rap Jesu, has been on a killing spree. With his signature blend of laid-back Yoruba and pidgin rap, Mojo has set himself apart as one of the acts to look out for. And asides from his skill, he also has an admirable work ethic that has seen him churning out sizzling singles all year long.
Just a week after reintroducing us to the Chop Life Crew with LK on the drill-influenced ‘Step’, The dreadlocked rapper is back with ‘Chiwawa’. Across this dancehall-esque jam Mojo spills goofy one-liners that’d get you chuckling in no time.

Mavins Records‘ raving star, Rema released his second project in just four months yesterday, June 20, titled “Rema Freestyle” EP. This is a follow-up to his well-received debut and introductory self-titled EP, “Rema” which housed records like ‘Ironman’ and ‘Dumebi’ which are still enjoying their dominance on the charts. In fact, the accompanying visuals for both singles have recorded over a million views, an enviable achievement for the singer who was introduced to the world just a few months back.
Since the release of the EP, the 18-year old singer has been keeping his social media presence at an optimal level, delivering sizzling freestyles on his pages which have now been compiled into this tape.
Therefore, the “Rema Freestyle” EP is a four-track EP that also includes his viral ‘Spiderman‘ freestyle. A very brief project, the tracks off the tape average about two minutes, with the total project spanning just about eight minutes.
The “Rema” tape released in March showcased the act’s versatility, crossing and bending genres such that it helped to introduce him to the Afropop audience as well as cater for his trap and Emo audience. However, this new tape finds Rema at his most comfortable as he majorly delievers fire verses over trap and Emo-type beats.
Rema is no doubt a talented and versatile artist with an amazing work ethic. And if he keeps this energy up, we might just be looking at the making of a superstar.Post Views: 843
