Rema has finally released the long-awaited visuals for his sultry love single, ‘Ginger Me’. This was a song he released just a couple months ago, after a glorious week for the young act. On Monday, June 15, the Mavin frontman was nominated in the Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act of the BET Awards. Two days later, he was tapped as the Apple Music’s “Up Next” act for the month. And then crowed the week of achievements with a new single titled ‘Ginger Me’, the song which led this three-week string of releases which he wrapped up with his smashing banger, ‘Woman’

This mid-tempo track finds Rema professing his love to his sweetheart. He carefully details how she makes him feel and all the things he’d like to do for and with her. In the uaxstudio-filmed visuals opens with Rema sporting a nice pair of Beats headphones on his couch, vibing deeply to his music. We are then introduced to his beautiful lover with him directly crooning the lovey-dovey lyrics to her as they both can’t keep their hands off one another. The video ends with them one a swing, reenacting the single’s art cover.

Rema broke into the scene last year with his debut and introductory self-titled release, “Rema” which housed his monster hit,’Dumebi’. And ever since, the young superstar seems to be on a joyride to his dominance of the Nigerian music space.
