Mavin Records frontman Rema has released the remix to his biggest song yet, ‘Dumebi’. This was a record that immediately propelled the young and unknown singer at the time into mainstream consciousness and domination. And almost a year after it’s initial release, Rema taps American singer Becky G for a dazzling remix to this star-making record. 

Becky G is well known for her 2014 ‘Showers’, which was a top-twenty record on the much-celebrated Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Still produced by Ozedikus, the remix maintains its original beat with Rema almost keeping his verse intact. Gomez however gave it a new life delivering a solid performance in her native tongue. It feels so good hearing Spanish side by side with our beloved pidgin English.

This record is just a teaser of better things to come from the globe-trotting youngster this year and we are totally here for it.
