Odunsi (The Engine) has shared a video for his latest releases, ‘Wetin Dey/ Better Days‘, which have been gaining much traction on the airwaves. Spanning just over four minutes the video contains visuals for the two singles with their separate but united themes.
A student of the past, the video is highly inspired by the pop culture of the late ’90s and early 2000s as it is fashioned after the music videos of the time, particularly in terms of the scenery, editing and fashion.
‘Wetin Dey‘ opens with Odunsi having a good time with friends. The video then transitions into a dark and intense video for ‘Better Days‘, seemingly inspired by classic Nollywood. It opens with a murder scene and later finds Odunsi and his cohort running off in vintage Mercedes Benz.
This grotesque video is beautifully directed by the usual culprit, Ademola Falomo and Odunsi himself.
