Seasoned Nigerian rapper, MCskill ThaPreacha has joined forces with legendary hip-hop producer, Teck-Zilla to take it back to the basics on their new EP titled “Nucleus.”
A 4-track EP, “Nucleus” appears to be a short but sweet affair as the two vets bring their A-game across the tape. It opens with ‘Positive Energy‘ where MCskill flexes his lyrical muscle over a soul-tinged boom-bap beat, while the second track ‘Fantasy rap‘ has a more solemn feel with MCskill delivering outlandish verbal illustrations.
‘From the ground up‘ finds the duo kicking it old school as they trace their way back to the boom-bap essence with a dark flute-like sample and hard-hitting drums plus an energetic MOP sample. ‘Dreams‘ closes up the project the elder statesman urging the listeners to maintain a laser focus on their dreams regardless of the obstacles they might encounter.

Soul singer Hamzaa has released her debut EP First Signs Of Me.
After teasing with Stranded Love, You and finally Breathing, Hamzaa has released the compilation of all her six sides as an introduction to her ever-growing audience. Already, You and Breathing have visuals to go with the amazing audio tracks and we hope there’s more. Hamzaa is showing with First Signs Of Me that she is no longer afraid of herself, telling tales of her heartbreak, pain and triumph with her music. The singer obviously seeks to inspire and encourage with this painstakingly honest EP “You’re going to come into a place where you’re going to fall in love and you’re going to feel heartbreak but you’re actually going to be fine” she says, reflecting on her past, “That’s how life works”. The EP features three new songs from this beautiful songstress to create the complete experience of who Hamzaa is. The project boasts production from the likes of Emeli Sande, Jacob Attwool and Pantha.
Coming out of the sunken place is a hard journey, but Hamzaa is saying to her listeners “If I can do it, you can too.”Post Views: 428

Stiques is an independent artistic organic musician. Last year he collaborated with a Grammy-award winning audio engineer from Solange’s team to bring us his debut “Lamba” which was premiered on the PGM Radio Show. This year, he and his newly synthesized afro organic band ‘The Dark Assassins’, bring us this gentle vibration, recorded live, Titled “Exposé (Kiraní).
Stiques emphasizes on his newly found organic ideology as the future of Afrobeats and African music as a whole. He believes that in a highly technological world, the depth and spirit of music are in its most elementary form, that concentrates on capturing the actual vibrations of physical instruments as opposed to software use which is highly common these days.
The International Council For Infinite Articulate Lambastiqulation presents Stiques & The Dark Assassins in ‘Exposé (Kiraní)’, the live recorded version.
