Nigerian hip-hop veteran and a member of the long-defunct hip-hop group, Da Thoroughbreds, B-Elect died yesterday, June 8, at the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.
He is best known for works with Da Thoroughbreds, an award-winning hip-hop group with other members like Elajoe, Obiwon, Chief Rocka, MGB and Elajoe. He also released his solo debut “Hard Listeners” in 2013, and followed up three years after with “Gospel Truf.”

B-Elect was one of the realest dudes ever… Took everyone in, treated everyone with respect.
It still shocking to know I’ll never see him again. 😔
Can’t even bring myself to type RIP with his name in it.
