As we get closer to the release of Nezsa’s sophomore EP ‘To All The Heartbreakers,’ the Alternative RnB artist has shared a new track off the project titled ‘Trouble.’ On the GbeduBoss produced track, Nezsa sings about walking away from a toxic relationship and fighting back against her ex-lover. She sings, “That’s right, I’ve been burned by you so many times. But I’m older, and I can see your disguise,” she lets him know that she has moved on and is no longer within his hold with lyrics like “And there’s no way you’re keeping me down.”  Inspired by actual events, Nezsa uses ‘Trouble’ to express how possible it is to stand up against toxicity, reclaim your power as a person and show that you are not weak. This is the artist’s second EP after coming into the music scene in 2019 with singles like ‘Lost,’ and ‘Like This?’ and an EP in 2020 titled ‘Bitter-Sweet.’ 

While speaking about the inspiration behind the song with The Hype magazine, she said, “‘Trouble’ came to me so naturally. Gbeduboss sent me the beat, and I was immediately enthralled by the heavy baseline and overall dark vibe. The story is inspired by my very own experiences, but it’s also dedicated ‘To All The Heartbreakers,’ just as the EP is named.”  Judging from the theme of ‘Trouble’ and the title of the soon-to-be-released project, it is obvious that the EP will explore themes like love, pain, heartbreak, and many more.
