Ozzy B, (Santi) has released yet another single called ‘Beat It Up.’ The song features DJ YIN and the incredibly talented Tay Iwar. It was also produced by rising star music producer Bankyondbeatz who has already impressed us this year with his super innovative all-female album ‘Fuego Senoras.’
We at thepgmclub are very excited to see Ozzy B (Santi) and Bankyondbeatz working together and we hope there’s more to come from that working relationship.

We cannot overemphasize how much we enjoy finding new music; it’s probably starting to sound like a scratchy vinyl record, but here we are. Another gem has been found.
The leading single off producer Trill Xoe’s debut EP Blood, Sweat and Tears; Love Like This is beautiful. The R&B joint produced by Trill Xoe features fire vocals from Tonero (especially) and Rilwan. On the hook, Tonerolays some piercing melodies and descriptive lyrics as he discovers love in the club and how much more it can become while Rilwan struggles to get a hold of his current situationships and is conflicted between affection and isolation. For such an amazing track, it’s no wonder Love Like This is such a fan favourite and the love struggle is just one of the many themes expressed on the amazing compilation of work that is Blood, Sweat and Tears which features vocal talent and flow from Nessa, PsychoYP, Barelyanyhook, Foresythe, Bryan the Mensah, Zirra, Ocho, Kizz Ernie, Oma Mahmud and of course Tonero and Rilwan.

Last year, Skip Marley the grandson of the reggae legend Bob Marley, broke his relative silence and teamed up with one of R&B most promising star, H.E.R on ‘Slow Down’. And ever since it’s release, the song has enjoyed cultural and commercial success, recently making Skip the first Jamaican-born singer to hit the number one spot on the Billboard Adult R&B chart, do so. The song has also inspired a couple of remixes, the latest featuring two generations of Afrobeats stars, Davido and Oxlade.
Davido opens the remix with an impassioned verse detailing how a love interest is so pressed on coming over to spend the quarantine with him. But Davido isn’t in a hurry; he wants to know if she’s really down for commitments, and not just him being an itch for her to scratch.
Oxlade then comes through with a scene-stealing verse to wrap the record, fully ready for some with rousing moments with his woman. It’s so beautiful to watch how Davido and Oxlade do not compromise their style and delivery just to cater to an international audience. No doubt, they brought this record home that you could even swear you’re listening to an afrobeats record.
