Burgeoning new gen acts, Fasina and Bella Alubo have joined forces to release a new single titled ‘Your Way (Long Time)‘. This is a product of the two kicking it at a studio in London where Fasina is currently based. The record also serves as Bella’s first post-re-Bella EP release which she dropped last year.
Produced by 4la Powers, ‘Your Way‘ is a mid-tempo, Afro-swing cut with a chilled vibe that gives it huge replay value. The sultry jam finds both acts motivated by mild intoxication, flirting with each other and toying with the idea of taking their relationship to the next level.

Earlier this month, Nonso Amadi confirmed on Twitter that he would be releasing an EP in June. And to the delight of many, the EP now has a name.
In an interview with Pulse NG, Nonso Amadi revealed that the coming project is titled “Free” and would contain five tracks. Although, there is no precise release date for its release yet, he further confirms that it would be released next month.
“So, I’m planning on dropping a project sometime in June – the date to be announced soon. But a lot has gone into the project – like almost three years. Since around – the release of – ‘Tonight’ I’ve been working on the project. I’m really excited about it and it has some dope features.” He says in the interview.
“The title of the project is ‘Free’ and it’s to express like being free; like ‘freedom,’ and all that. It’s just to say, you know, regardless of the pressure that most artists face and all that, this project was created out of a liberty of creativity. Like I’m not trying to match or compete with anyone. It’s a very interesting sound to hear, and it’s something I want people to listen to while they’re driving or chilling, not when you’re trying to… It’s not made for you to go to the club necessarily. It’s a chill song, it’s Nonso Amadi.
“It’s five songs at the moment. It’s in post-production, it’s almost ready. There’s a lot of international feel to it. It’s not something only Nigerians can appreciate. Ghanaians can also enjoy it; Americans all that, so yeah.” He continues.

Indigenous Nigerian rapper, Chinko Ekun has joined forces with Mavin Records‘ Johnny Drille in his just-released single titled ‘Calling’. This is the rapper’s first release since the Peruzzi-assisted ‘Samena’, a follow-up to his 2018 monster hit, ‘Able God‘.
This new collaboration might come as a surprise to many as it finds Johnny Drille – a masterful folk sensation- on an Afro-pop record. Despite being a brief departure from his overtly soulful sound, Johhny Drille still comes through with a beautiful chorus and verse for the love number, a testament to his artistic depth and versatility.
On the record, Chinko Ekun delievers romantic bars as he tries to woo his love interest. He passionately describes his unrelenting efforts to get her attention, as he is ready to risk it all just to have her all to himself. Raving beatsmith, Big Dre also delivers on his end by dishing a solid production, laced with live instruments to provide a soothing ambience for a love record like this.
