Ex-Project fame finalist, Immaculate Edache releases new single ‘Aiye’

Immculate Edache is a talented singer, songwriter and stage performer whose extraordinary talent lifted her from her small catholic church to national stardom. With a vocal range that covers three octaves, she was the first runner up in the third edition of Peak Talent Hunt Show in 2011. In 2013, Immaculate’s music career really took off, after coming first runner up in the sixth edition of MTN Project fame, West Africa. She got signed into Vivace Records owned by renowned music producer Ty-mix where she released successful singles like ‘osanle’ and ‘gogobaby’ before eventually going independent and starting her own label,  Dache Entertainment.

After going independent in 2016, she went on to release ‘sugarlala’, ‘love affair’ and ‘obiyekum.’ She also had her debut stage performance in Olu jacob and Joke Silva’s 2016 theatrical musical ‘ Heartbeat the musical’ where she played the role of Iya Sidi. She released her EP, Q1 and debut album Q2 in 2018.

Immaculate’s however disappeared from the limelight for a while and this caused many to wonder where the voluptuous beauty had gone. Speaking to Sunday Scoop, she said; ” I have many outstanding projects that have taken so much time to be unveiled to the public. I am super excited about all and the gradual process of execution. Like it is usually said, it is not how far but how well. The end result is all that matters.” She had also commented about how harsh the music industry was for reality show winners who were unprepared for the lavish extravagant apperance they had to keep up with in the industry while still fresh in the game and unable to keep up.

She has been vocal about her non-support for nudity, she however promotes voluptuous women feeling confident and comfortable in their skin and being their best self. She is also passionate about women development programmes across Africa. Click here to listen to her new single ‘Aiye.’
