DYO’s visuals for ‘Let them talk’ featuring Simi is out

London based singer and songwriter, Dyo formerly Ms.D, has released a new single ‘Let them talk’ featuring the Duduke crooner,Simi.

Dayo Olatunji professionally known as Dyo is an English singer and songwriter. Her dad is from Nigeria while her mum is from England. Her formative years were had in East ham, London where she was born.

Under her previous stage name ‘Ms D’, she was credited as the featured artist and co-writer for all three of rapper wiley’s hit singles from his 2013 album The Ascent including UK Chart #1 Single “Heatwave”. In December 2012, she was featured on “Dependency”, the debut single by English singer Charlie Brown. She is also known for her vocals on rapper Chip’s 2009 UK Chart #1 single “Oopsy Daisy”. Ms D was credited as a songwriter and backing vocalist for Iggy Azalea’s 2013 single “Bounce”

In 2018, she collaborated with Adekunle Gold on his About 30 album in “Down with you” and has since then continued to gain increased popularity in Nigeria. In 2019, Dyo released singles like “Can’t buy my love” and “Arena remix” with Adekunle Gold. By Jan 2020, she then dropped her EP “Dyologue” which had tracks like “Real,”Arena”,”Go all the way”,”Can’t buy my love”, “Papaya” featuring Afixana and “Plans.”

She has lots of credits for her songwriting as she has worked on quite a number of songs like “Put it down” “Can you hear me(Ayayaya), “Reload”,”Sexual”,”My ones”,”Lonely Night”,”What lovers do”,”Bad vibes”,”Calypso”,”Name on it” as writer or co-writer for local and international artists such as; Burna boy, Stefflon Don, Sweetie,  Fifth Harmony, SZA e.t.c.

Let them talk with Simi was released 5 days and it’s video a few hours ago. The song advises people to live their lives wholeheartedly as naysayers would always have something to say about other people’s lives. Better to be happy and flourishing. Click here to watch the video.
