When Pop Smoke’s first posthumous album “Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon” dropped a couple of weeks ago, many were surprised they couldn’t find our Afrobeats juggernauts Davido and Burna Boy on the album as rumoured. It was generally assumed that their entries didn’t make the album’s final cut until news surfaced that there was a deluxe version on its way. Well, in celebration of Pop Smoke’s posthumous 21st birthday, the deluxe version is now here and our superstars are on it.
This version is an extension of the recently-released album and it features 15 new tracks, making “Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon” a total of 34 songs. It also features the much-teased ‘Paranoia’ with Gunna and Young Thug. But a notable omission is Pusha T whose verse seems to have been taken off following the controversy it sparked over alleged shots at Drake.
Other acts featured on the deluxe tape include Queen Naija, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Fivio Foreign, PnB Rock and BloodPop. Davido appears on the 25th track titled ‘Tsunami’ while Burna Boy was on the album closer ‘Enjoy Yourself’ remix.
Enjoy the album above.
