On Monday, rock artist; Clay released the audio and video of her new single featuring Johnny Drille; The One. The song brings Clay’s rock and Johnny Drille’s folk sound together flawlessly.

Ogadisinma

from her debut single Ogadisinma which dropped in November 2011 which was nominated for an NMVA in the Best Alternative Song category. With her unique vocals and electrifying live performances with her band The Misfits, Clay has carved a niche for herself and style of music in the Afro Pop dominated Nigerian music industry.

The One is Clay’s second release of 2018; the first being Queen B featuring Aramide which came out in February. The singer says love songs are not her thing, but she was pushed to experiment by her producer Coldflames Beats and The One was born. The sound and visuals of this song are flawless and we are sure that Clay is The One. The video was directed by Asha.
