CKay Releases Sophomore EP “CKay the First”

Last week Friday, August 30, Chocolate City act, CKay released his sophomore EP, “CKay the First“. However, in just a few hours, it was taken down across multiple streaming platforms due to  “leakage” issues. But gladly, after holding our breaths for what seemed to be a lifetime, we finally have our hands on Ckay’s new material.

This project comes just two years after his introductory and debut project, “Who The F*** Is Ckay,” inspired by the infamous Loose Talk episode with M.I and Loose Kaynon.

This 8-track EP is led by the single ‘Way‘, which has been gaining traction on the airwaves and overly lauded by music enthusiasts. It also features appearances fellow new-gen acts, Blaqbonez, BOJ, Barry Jhay and label executive, DJ Lambo. For the production of the album, Ckay recruits Tempoe and Real Btee while also three tracks himself.

Ckay sounds so excited to be having this project out, revealing on Twitter that it had been delayed for over a year. But we are glad it’s finally out and we can get treated to new records from the multitalented act.
