Bella Alubo preaches faith and perseverance in new single “Patience”

Born Mabel Oine Alubo, Bella Alubo is a Nigerian pop artiste who describes her music as a cocktail of her influences which include Afrobeat, Hip-Hop, smooth jazz, R&B and Reggae. In 2018, Alubo dropped a collaborative EP, Late Night Vibrations with Ycee, and a follow-up EP, Re-Bella, featuring BOJ, Victoria Kimani, Efya, and Sho Madjozi. In 2019 she dropped summer over EP featuring Mr Eazi and many more. She was nominated for the promising act to watch at the 2018 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and listed among 2018 promising artists.

Under the direction of Benin City Entertainment, she published her debut studio album, named Bella Buffet, in 2021. In May 2022, she redistributed her official single, Location, which featured Niniola. She signed with the Nigerian-American record company, Benin City Entertainment in 2022, which was created by Elliot Osagie.

Bella appeared in The Notorious B.I.G.’s track G.O.A.T., which was produced by Kayo and Elliot Osagie and featured Ty Dolla $ign. The song features Biggie’s lyrics from the Life After Death song “I Love The Dough,” in which he sang about his lavish lifestyle with Jay-Z and Angela Winbush. Her EPs include re-Bella, Summer’s Over & Popstar.

She begins the song by stating that she is confident in her lane and in no competition with no one. She reiterates her mission to make money while also reminding herself to be patient and have faith in the grind “I’ve been waiting for a very long time, I’ve been contemplating, in my world it’s different, Be patent, have faith and patience”
