Brash, Confident and Unapologetic. These were the first words that came to mind when I heard Aylo’s Fusion. Musicians sick of the status quo have always gone on to make the type of music that they want to but Aylo takes it a step further with Fusion.
He takes on the phonies who make uninspired and monotonous music, mocking their song template and unimaginative lyrics but at the same time managing to create a song that excites the ears. A song you can groove to but one with a message.
Aylo has definitely caught our ear here at thepgm.club and we eagerly await what he comes up with next.

Fasten your seatbelt! Burgeoning German-based act, Garey Godson is taking us on a journey around the city of Lagos in his latest single titled ‘Private Trips‘. This is a self-produced record, engineered by his friend and longtime collaborator, HKMK.
Merging colourful Afro high-life guitar riffs to bouncy 808s and mellow marimbas, Garey gives us slick blend of Afro and Western sounds on this tune. This, therefore, gives ‘Private Trips‘ an overwhelming feel-good vibe reminiscent of palm-wine music. Over the dazzling production, Garey implores his love interest to join him on his adventurous private trip around the city.
This song is premiering later tonight on the PGM Radio Show, where Garey will discuss the creative process this record, his career journey and more with Douglas and the club.
Enjoy.Post Views: 442

Hip-Hop/Soul Singer, AUSTIIN, is a budding Nigerian recording artist, songwriter and producer.
His initial releases include tracks Trouble (featuring Buju and Essien) which he only has credits for as a producer.
His debut Single Here For You (featuring Tieno) was released in December 2017 and it quickly became a fan fave.
AUSTIIN has been consistent with his craft in 2018 releasing Thrills, originally a prelude to his 2019 project titled WRATH OF AUGUST. The track was produced and engineered by producer and frequent collaborator, Trill Xoe.
Thrills sees AUSTIIN stay true to his experimental trap sound as he delivers dreamy vocals over Xoe’s harrowing chords and hard-hitting subs. The dolorous shadow cast over the entire track by the production is the perfect backdrop for AUSTIIN’s emotive tale-telling of the struggle to make it in his city, Lagos. He sings of his plan to “make a milli off a sick deal” and how far he is willing to go to get through the struggle and achieve success in a difficult terrain.
Thrills is yet another testament to his remarkable chemistry with Trill Xoe.

DRB Lasgidi, a collective made up of Teezee, Fresh L and BOJ is back with a new single titled ‘Alté‘. This record is named after the sub-culture they pioneered. In fact, BOJ is credited with the coinage of the term and is often referred to as the “alte daddy”.
Produced by 2Kriss, this uptempo fire jam is the second single off their forthcoming project titled “Pioneers.” This comes a few months after the Odunsi-assisted single, ‘Necessary‘ which is the first single off the project.
With this single, the super trio seeks to celebrate and set the record straight about the movement that has been misconstrued by many. Alté is a way of life that promotes self and confidence in our unique ways. It is so much more than a music genre.
The accompanying video finds DRB Lasgidi, Blaqbonez, Prettyboy D-O, Ycee, Wavy The Creator and many others having fun and sipping Jameson at a cool party. This wavy visual is directed by Ademola Falomo.
