With every release, Adekunle Gold shows us how far and fast he’s evolving from the African-percussion led Urban Life to all the sounds that can be grouped under Afrobeats. This is a transition many would not have predicted a couple of years ago, but it’s happening, and it’s awe-inspiring.
With his latest release, ‘AG Baby’, we get closer to his much-teased third studio album “Afropop” which is scheduled for release next month. The project features appearances from Patoranking, Tekno, Olayinka Ehi and Nailah Blackman.
For ‘AG Baby’ with Nailah Blackman, Adekunle Gold hops on the Afro-dancehall wave for this self-appraising number. Enjoy this single produced by TMXO above.

For the past few weeks, Canadian-based Nigerian singer, TÖME has been giving us several tastes of the material she’s been working on for a while now. Each week came with its own teaser single, all building up to the big release; a new album.
She had spent the bulk of 2019 touring Europe with Afrobeats globetrotting star, Mr Eazi. That same year, TÖME also opened for Burna Boy on his sold-out Wembley show. Well, it’s been almost a year since her debut album, “TÖMESROOM Chapter 1” and she’s following this up with a fitting sophomore, “Bigger Than Four Walls”.
This sonically ambitious LP contains just 10-tracks with an all-star cast of some of Africa’s finest acts. The guest list cuts across generations as it includes afrobeats stapel, Runtown, Zlatan, Ghana’s King Promise as well as alte luminary, Wavy The Creator. One interesting thing about this album is how TÖME explores different sounds and genres across the project, which plays as a testament to her artistic range and palette.
This album comes highly recommended from us at the PGM Club. Enjoy above and tell us what you think.Post Views: 296

Except you’ve suddenly found yourself in the North Pole with a rotary dial for a phone, you must have heard that the self-acclaimed Alaga ibile Reminisce has a new project on the way. And after weeks of a very amazing rollout, the much-teased EP “Vibes & Insha Allah” is finally here. This EP is the first project from Reminisce for about four years, coming after the well-received “El-Hadj” album which dropped in 2016.
This EP contains just six tracks with features from Firebody DML and Tiwa Savage in the fourth and fifth tracks. He also opened the project with a cute soundbite from a conversation with his daughters Mo and Fatimah Safaru.
A couple of days ago, he gave us our first peek into the material with the Fireboy DML-assisted ‘Ogaranya’. He also linked up with his friend and longtime collaborator Sarz for an amazing production. Over the steady lamba production, Remience adds ogaranya to his already long list of titles. He works up a fine party starter off the back of braggadocio rap and a stunning infectious hook from the Fireboy.

This new single, which would be her fourth of the year, is produced by ace producer, Pheelz. Coming about three months right after her latest effort, ‘Power Rangers‘, Teni would hope this cut turns the tide in her favour as her last three strikes have been met with middling success.Post Views: 394
