There’s a saying that goes, “Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot ignore,” and that’s why it comes as no surprise that the new track from Olamide ‘Who You Epp‘ produced by Shizzi has caught the attention of Poe, one Nigeria’s finest hip hop artists, and he has decided to bless his fans with his own cover of ‘Who You Epp‘.

Last week, Eri Ife and Remy Baggins were on the PGM radio show to discuss the release of their new collaborative EP, titled YLLW.
YLLW is a contemporary Afro-pop project, involving the fusion of several genres of both Africa and Diaspora. The EP features Ghanaian musician BRYANTHEMENSAH, with additional vocals and co-production from Sir Bastien. All songs on the project were written by both Eri Ife and Remy Baggins with “Bastien’s Interlude” the only exception. The entire project was engineered by Remy Baggins.
YLLW is Remy Baggins’ and Eri Ife’s first collaborative work, with both artists combining their different styles to create one unique sound. Remy Baggins (based in Lagos, Nigeria) and Eri Ife (Based in Ibadan, Nigeria) are hoping to reach a worldwide audience with this sound.

One of Nigeria’s most gifted rappers on the rise, Phlow has released her new EP, “Marmalade”. This is a 6-track EP that features appearances from Alpha Ojini, PsychoYP, Blaqbonez and Tomi Owo.
“MARMALADE is a sleek body of work with an urban feel, as synthesized by Nigerian lyricist and songwriter Phlowetry a.k.a. Phlow. As an African hip-hop project, it shares little ground with its contemporaries. Each song on this 6-track EP, true to the most succinct and literal definition of the word “marmalade”, is an alternative jam; individually implanted by Phlow’s creative genius – promising to indeed germinate and sprout novelty in the African hip-hop space,” she writes on Audiomack.

Twitter spoke, and Burna Boy has delivered. Starting his UK Life On The Outside tour on the 7th of October, the hitmaker asked fans if he should drop another hit before the start of the tour, and of course, we said yes and what a jam Gbona is.
The single is Burna’s first solo project since he dropped his very successful sophomore album Outside. The song produced by Kel-P is accurately titled, as Burna Boy accepts his accolades and blows his trumpet with lyrics like ‘OluwaBurna, mo gbona feli…’. Since the release of Outside, Burna Boy has been featured on a handful of hits including Sauti Sol’s Afrikan Star and most recently, Major Lazer’s All My Life.
Gbona highlights Burna Boy’s heavy inspiration by Fela Kuti without being a bootleg copy. Burna’s ability to pay homage to the Abami Eda and Afrobeats while still honing his own sound proves just how talented he is and we’re very sure Gbona will become another anthem.Post Views: 746
